Our History and Purpose

Somis Town and Country Club was founded as a spin off of the Somis Thursday Club in 1952.  Our club has been meeting continually ever  since. 
 

Somis Town and Country Club is both a social and service club.  As a group of diverse women, in ages, interest, and occupations, we share a common love and concern for life in Somis and a devotion to our community. We enjoy working together on projects that benefit local families in need.

We hold monthly meetings at member's homes, September to May, normally on the 4th Wednesday of the month.  Meeting details are emailed each month.  We serve our community through outreach programs including:  Somis Pantry's monthly food distribution,
Thanksgiving food baskets,  Scholarships and school support to students that live in Somis, and our annual stocking stuffing and Santa visit during the Christmas holiday.
